I figure I'd share what I found recently at Jalopnik:

Shots of VW's upcoming hotter Passat, the R36, somehow made it through the company's air-tight press-relations establishment. From what we see and hear, the R36 will come in both sedan and wagon variants and get a 280-hp version of the corporate 3.6-liter V6, fitted with the sublime DSG automanual and 4Motion all-wheel drive. The Geneva show, next March, will likely host the official unveiling. [Thanks to Dave for the tip.] – Mike Spinelli
