A local physician from here in Sioux Falls, who is a friend of mine ordered this car new for his wife in the winter of 1990-1991. He took delivery of the car on 3/25/1991. As luck would have it he and his wife didn't see eye to eye and eventually several years later parted ways via divorce. The physician kept the car and eventually re-married. His new bride knowing that the Corvette was his prior wife's car didn't want anything to do with it - refusing to even ride in the car. Consequently the car remained in storage and unused. Despite the car's little use - the physician owner was and still is a lifelong car enthusiast - so he made sure the car was started and warmed up to operating temperatures regularly to keep the seals from drying out. In July of 2005 the physician decided to part with the car, so he enlisted us to help him sell it. At this time the car had only 4,886 original miles. We then sold the car to longtime customer of ours who also was friends with the original owner. This customer and current owner of the car recently brought the car to us to help him sell. He has owned several Corvettes (probably over 50 of them) through the years and is ready for another. Today the car currently has only 6,360 original miles.

Overall this car is absolutely spectacular. It has never been chipped, scraped, scratched, damaged, or repainted - the paint is flawless. The car has never been smoked in and still smells new inside. The car has never been driven in the rain and the undercarriage is absolutely spotless. The door and hood hinges still have the factory white grease on them. The wheels are not curb scraped or chipped and the original tires are full tread depth without any cracks or dry rot. Included with the sale are the original Owners Manual Portfolio (still in the original bag), Bose Audio Tape, 1991 Corvette Dealer Brochure, original Window Sticker ($44,559 In 1991! ), original unused Carpeted Floormats, and Hoist for removing the Auxiliary Hardtop. Currently in the car are embroidered C4 Logo Carpeted Formats and clear Corvette Logo Door Sill Carpet protectors. The original floormats, also included with the sale, have never been used.
