Muscle car fans should be delighted with a new 1:18 scale Lane Collectible now available from Legacy Motors. It's a 1970 Oldsmobile 442 W-30 Convertible and was produced as a "limited edition" special. Which means that only 696 copies will be available. I'm not a muscle car enthusiast (although exposure to these beasts at shows and auctions is beginning to sway my opinions) but when I spotted this beauty via the model car enthusiast's site diecast.org I felt it was my duty to bring it to your attention. In fact, just looking at it makes me want to slip into the driver's seat of a real 442 W-30, bring the revs up to 4000 rpm, and let out the clutch for a smokin', tire screaming quarter-mile run. Since that's not likely to happen, this attractive model looks like a bargain to me at just $99.95. Check it out.
