Tesla announced that it’s releasing a gas/electric hybrid, a move that seems to invalidate a lot of the positive green press it’s made with it’s all-electric Lotus-chassised roadster.  While it’s not like releasing a V8, it DOES seem to dilute the main strength of the company.  This all before the first car ships.  We’ll see if their strategy makes sense in the long run…
